Organise a Seasonal Sunday Lunch

Lazy or raucous, casual or fancy, at home or out-and-about – it’s really up to you. A Seasonal Sunday Lunch can be held any month or week – and even any day. The important thing is creating your feast with local, seasonal food, and spending quality time with friends!

Hosting a lunch is easy:

Sow: Set the date

We’ll be holding our lunch around the middle of each season. Check out the latest announcement for the upcoming dates, we’d love for you to join us. But if our date doesn’t work for you, simply set your own!

Tend: Invite your guests

Sunday lunch is about kicking back and enjoying yourself, work out your guest list and send out the invites. If you have the time you can even go old-school with a special printed version. Make it as formal or casual as you wish.

Harvest: Plan your menu

This is where the fun starts! 3 courses or 12 courses, 12pm or 3pm, a bbq, formal sit-down, family style platters or even a huge brunch spread – do what makes you comfortable and happy.

Are you someone who makes lists and plans for weeks in advance, or are you the person who heads to the market on Saturday to pick up whatever looks best and makes up a menu on the spot? Either way we’ve got you covered with seasonal recipes and great menu ideas.

It’s worth mentioning, some hosts assign a course or a dish to each person they invite, others make the entire menu themselves, it’s really up to you.

Cooking and hosting just not your thing? Book a Seasonal Sunday Lunch at a restaurant.
