Ingredients
- 3 pears
- 1 Aztec fruit / white sapote (or 1 more pear)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup almond meal
- ¼ cup wholemeal flour
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 40g room temperature butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180C
- Peel and core your pears and remove the skin and pips from the Aztec fruit. Chop into pieces, as small or large as you like.
- Place into the dishes you’re baking in and sprinkle 1 tbsp of the sugar across the top. I made individual ones but you could make a single larger one.
- In another bowl, rub the butter into the oats, flour, almond meal, cinnamon and sugar, using your fingers. This should create a “bread crumb” like mixture.
- Sprinkle crumble over the top your your fruit.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Serve immediately with ice cream.
